In 2021, North Carolina passed its carbon free standard, hoping to achieve a 70% reduction in carbon emissions by 2030. Making renewable energy more abundant throughout the state is how North Carolina can achieve this goal. However, the deployment of solar and wind has slowed down in recent years.
We need North Carolina legislators to defend our clean energy economy. This is about supporting our economy, lowering costs, allowing farmers to do what’s best for their land, and putting North Carolina first.
